A Culture of Islamic & professional excellence

To bring to life the total way of life of Islam, the path adopted by all the Prophets and particularly by our Prophet Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ was to prepare the hearts and minds, thereafter the Shar’ee injunctions that were revealed were readily implemented as an environment of obedient minds and hearts had been established. In that environment, everyone was not only willing but had a burning desire to know and implement whatever their Lord and Master commanded them to do or abstain from. This was the successful model of Makkah Mukarramah and Madina Munawwarah, and it remains the model of success for bringing the implementation of Islam into any sphere of life.

With our experience in change management, organizations have a tremendous opportunity to instill in their team members a spirit of Islamic and professional excellence and the intent of Ubudiyyah. This requires massive culture building effort which entails among other things:

  1. Formulating a mission statement of the organization which provides clarity of purpose and the roadmap to serving humanity.
  2. Defining values & behaviors. These provide clarity as to what will be the manner in which the organization intends to achieve its purpose. In other words, the do’s and don’ts of business are clarified.
  3. Across the board education and trainings with regards to mission, values and behaviors.
  4. Developing role model leaders through leadership programs, assessment mechanisms etc.

The Parable of a Good Tree

Have you not seen how Allah has set forth a parable? A good word is like a good tree, having its root firm and its branches in the sky.

It brings its fruits at all times with the will of its Lord. Allah sets forth the parables for the people, so that they may take lesson. (Surah Ibrahim 24:25)

A MUSLIM BUSINESSMAN SHOULD BE LIKE A GOOD TREE
